Whitening

Teeth whitening is a great option for you if you have dull, discolored or stained teeth. It can also be used to help reverse
effects of aging or stains from food, alcohol, and tobacco. Teeth whitening is an excellent way to restore the natural color of your teeth or even make them whiter than your natural color if you would like.

At our office in Roseville, we offer Zoom! In-Office Whitening System as a two-step process for whitening your teeth. It is safe, effective and fast. The first step is to make an impression of your teeth. With this impression, we will create custom whitening trays that can be used overtime to touch up at your home. We will start your Zoom whitening in our office. Then we will give you Zoom whitening gel to put in the trays and on your teeth. You will wear the trays for about 10 minutes each day over the course of a few days, depending on the degree of whiteness you desire. Typically, this will result in a whiter smile of 4-8 shades.

There are different whitening systems and you may want to know which suits you the best. We offer a few options, including Zoom Whitening, Treswhite, whitening pen, in office whitening, custom tray whitening, universal tray whitening and more.

Zoom company has this new product that they claim works on tetracyclin teeth.  For years tetracyclin stains have been a problem for many people. Most of those suffering with the unpleasant look of tetracyclin have ended up with veneer placement or full coverage crowns.  Dr. Nazari said, “When the representative of Zoom company claimed that their product works on tetracyclin I questioned them.  However we have tried this product on few of our patients with Tetracyclin stains and we came up with amazing result. Most importantly those patients were very happy.”

Bonding

Bonding is the application of tooth-colored composite resin to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. It can be used:

  • To correct cracks or gaps in teeth
  • As a filling after a cavity (infection of teeth) has been removed
  • To cover up stains or discolored teeth
  • To give a broken tooth a normal appearance

A composite resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. It is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is (placed) on the tooth. After the resin has been applied, an LED light is used to harden the resin. It is then polished to give you a fresh, new smile.

Bonding is a safe, affordable, and attractive solution for many dental problems.

Veneers

Veneers are cosmetic solutions that may be recommended for those who are interested in restoring the color and appearance of their teeth. Veneers can be used to:

  • Re-shape teeth
  • Improve the look of the teeth due to stains
  • Fix teeth that are chipped, fractured or broken
  • Close gaps between teeth

Veneers are custom-made to fit over your natural teeth. In order to be a candidate for veneers, the foundation of your natural teeth must be strong and healthy. The results from veneers can be very drastic and will increase your confidence.

Crowns

The fabrication of a crown may be needed for various reasons.  If a tooth is unsupported due to the extend of dental decay or fracture, a crown may be needed for support.  In some cases, a crown may be fabricated due to cosmetic reasons. There are different types of crowns that can be fabricated depending on the patient’s needs.

Dental Implant

When there is a missing tooth, if there is an adequate amount of bone, a dental implant can be placed to permanently replace the missing tooth. Implants are prosthesis with a surgical component. In the surgical stage, a prosthesis is placed in the bone that acts as the root of the tooth. Later on when this prosthesis gets integrated to the bone, a process called osteointegration begins. Next, restoration occurs and a crown will be added to the implant via a connector. There are many implant systems with various lengths and width that can be used depending on the location of the jaw and the amount of the bone.  Success rate of a dental implant is said to be 98%.

Fixed Bridge

When there is a missing tooth, you can replace the empty area with a dental bridge.  This is only possible if the empty space is between other teeth.  Of course, there must be certain criteria that has to be met before proceeding with treatment.

Tooth Colored Filling

When there is dental decay, a gap, or small fracture of a tooth, a tooth colored filling can be used to give the best esthetic result.

Inlays and Onlays

Dental Inlays and Onlays can be used when old fillings need to be removed or replaced. A dental inlay is similar to a filling and fits inside the cusp of the tooth. A dental Onlay is more extensive and extends over the cusps of the tooth.
